Q. Are Jigsaw Puzzles suitable for children?
A. Yes. Jigsaw Puzzles are a great source of fun and learning for children. Their pleasure is increased considerably if the subject is a pet or a relative they know. You should be aware, however, that the small pieces do present a choking hazard and are not suitable for unsupervised children under 36 months.
Q. Will you pass my personal details to any other parties?
A. No. Under no circumstances will we ever pass your details to anyone else.
We should, however, like to be able to send details to you of new jigsaw ideas and promotions from time to time. If you would prefer not to receive such information please indicate on our web site. See Privacy policy.
Q. What if I do not have a digital image?
A. No problem. Simply download the Postal Order Form and post it to us together with your hard copy photograph. Please choose your photographs, slides or negatives with care. The original should be sharp and in focus. The more detail – the better the finished puzzle will be. You can either pay on line or by cheque. See Easy Ordering.
You may send a print up to 6” x 8” size or a negative or slide. Remember that the puzzle is rectangular and so if you send a square, round or oval photograph some cropping will occur. Your original will not be affected.
Q. Will my photos be safe?
A. We respect the fact that your photos, CDs and images are important to you and we take all possible care of them while they are in our custody. You will appreciate, however, that we have no control over the actions of the postal services and cannot be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur while the photos, images or CDs are in their custody or control.
Q. Can you select only part of a photograph?
A. Yes. Use a paper mask to show which part of the photograph you want to be used for your Puzzle or send a rough sketch with your order. Don’t cut the photo. Don’t mark it with a pen.
Q. How should I post my photograph to you?
A. Ideally the photograph should be packed flat between two sheets of cardboard. Please avoid using paperclips to hold your photo in place. This should avoid any damage to the photo.
